Job Responsibility /Description :

  • Leadership:
  • Oversee the operations functions of the hotel, including but not limited to guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage.
  • Lead and manage the hotel management team to ensure all departments run smoothly.
  • Mentor and develop department heads and staff to ensure a motivated and skilled team.
  • Financial Management:
  • Manage budgets, financial plans, and forecasts to maximize profitability.
  • Analyze financial data and market trends to create strategies for cost control and revenue generation.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Guest Experience:
  • Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction and handle guest complaints and feedback efficiently.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement strategies to continuously improve service and guest experience.
  • Ensure that the hotel meets or exceeds brand standards.
  • Operations:
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and repair.
  • Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures.
  • Sales and Marketing:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the hotel and its services.
  • Work with the sales and marketing team to attract new business and enhance the hotel's market position.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Human Resources:
  • Recruit, train, and manage staff to ensure a high standard of service and professionalism.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive work environment and culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the hotel.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to ensure the hotel remains competitive.

Job Requirement / Minimum Qualification:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Excellent customer service skills as well as a business mindset.
  • Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
