Job Responsibility /Description :

  • Data Entry: Enter financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments, into the accounting system. Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entry, including proper coding and classification of transactions.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes. Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, and enter them into the system. Prepare and process payments to vendors and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations: Reconcile bank and credit card statements with accounting records. Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in a timely manner. Prepare and maintain supporting documentation.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Assist with maintaining the general ledger by accurately recording journal entries and adjusting entries. Ensure proper coding and classification of transactions. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Financial Reporting Support: Assist with generating financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Provide support in preparing financial statements and schedules for internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Recordkeeping and Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and documentation. File and archive financial documents in accordance with company policies and procedures. Retrieve and provide supporting documentation as needed.
  • Data Analysis and Auditing: Assist in data analysis and auditing processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Identify and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel. Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned. Provide assistance in various areas of accounting and finance, as needed.

Job Requirement / Minimum Qualification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree or coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data entry or a similar role, preferably in an accounting or finance department.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
