Job Responsibility /Description :

  • 1. Sequencing technology operation, IT systems integration, hybrid network infrastructure management:
  • - To support configuration, and maintenance of on-premises servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and uptime for critical data generation processes.
  • - Implement and maintaining cloud infrastructure, emphasizing hybrid on-prem-cloud solutions.
  • - To support cloud Server Administration and Cloud Infrastructure Management with a focus on AWS and GCP.
  • - To support management of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • - To support management of the networking components and peripherals of the sequencing facility, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network cabling, to guarantee a stable and secure environment.
  • - Support the team providing initial diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues to minimize downtime and disruptions to data generation operations.
  • - To support the team in monitoring server and network performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing proactive measures to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • - Regularly update server software, firmware, and networking equipment to keep systems up-to-date with the latest security patches and enhancements.
  • - Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures to ensure effective knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting.

Job Requirement / Minimum Qualification:

  • Min. Academic Education:
  • Secondary education with formal training in IT systems, business software and/or web-based applications. Certifications in ITIL/hardware/software management/application and/or MCP are an asset.
  • University Degree (Bachelor's degree) in computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalent field will be given due consideration, but it is not a requirement.
  • Min. years of relevant Work experience A minimum of 5 years (with Secondary education) or 2 years (with bachelor's degree) of progressively responsible project experience is required. Required skills and competencies:
  • - Solid knowledge and practical experience in assisting project implementation;
  • - Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and abilityto work in a team.
  • - Strong report writing skills.
  • - Solid networking capacity.
  • Desired additional skills and competencies:
  • - Experience in Database Administrator/Mail Server Administrator/Network Administrator/Network Monitoring/IT Security.
  • - Experience includes IT security operations and management (ex: vulnerability management/ IT security incident response management.
  • - Experience handling server infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud (AWS / GCP).
  • - Experience working with different operating systems, such as Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.
  • - Experience includes Cloud Infrastructure Management using AWS/ GCP/ VMWare/ ESXi.
  • - Experience and basic understanding of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), routers, switches, and IPaddressing.
  • - Experience includes management of diverse databases using SQL databases (ex: MySQor PostgreSQL) and NoSQL database (ex: MongoDB)
  • - Experience includes configuration and management of routers, switches, and firewalls using Fortinet/ Cisco ASA/ Mikrotik/ VLAN/ VPN
  • - Experience includes Network Monitoring using Nagios/ Cacti/ PRTG/ Munin,
  • Required Language(s) (at working level) Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.
